Prescription Compounding

Pharmaceutical compounding is the method of preparing medications to meet each physician's and patient's unique needs. The physician first prescribes the medication, then the pharmacist takes the necessary ingredients, compounds them, and dispenses the medicine to the patient in a delivery system that best fits the patients needs. The art of pharmaceutical compounding allows patients to receive the personalized care they deserve.

Why should I get a compounded product?

We work with doctors and patients to determine the best way for the patient to get the medication that they need. For some patients taking a medication in a large tablet is difficult, we can help by compounding that medication into a gel that the patient applies on the skin.

Sterile Compounding

We have a full clean room and can prepare any type of intravenous preparation that you may need. McQuade's Specialty Pharmacy can prepare simple injectibles to more complicated intravenous pumps.
