McQuade's Specialty Pharmacy is the latest in the growing family of McQuade’s Pharmacies. We are pleased to introduce to the Westerly, RI and Costal, CT area to the arena of compounding pharmacy. Our existing pharmacies are able to provide the communities with the commercially available prescriptions as well home health needs, and now we are able to “complete the circle” with total and complete care, with customized compounded medications. Our compounding pharmacists, Courtney McQuade, PharmD and Neal Anderson, PharmD, partner with the physician and patient to make taking medications easiest for both the patient and the physician.

McQuade’s Specialty Pharmacy is a patient centered pharmacy - we let the patient pick what flavor their medication their medication might be. There are many patients that have very successful outcomes with medications that are commercially available. However, we have worked with patients that are unable to take commercial products because of the dyes, the favors, or the inactive ingredients. We are then able to take the raw chemicals and make that medication into a formulation that allows the patient to have a successful experience.
