Home Health, conveniently located in our Westerly
Store, offers a variety of supplies for your medical
needs. This includes the rental or purchase of
hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, commodes
and nebulizers.
We also have in stock canes and crutches. We
have Truform compression stockings and Spenco
shoe supports. There are knee and wrist splints,
aircasts and a variety of other assistive devices.
McQuade's Home Health also bills your insurance,
so you don't have to. If you don't see what you
need on our shelves please ask, most items we
order can be in the next day.

 Why
is Home Care Preferable to Staying in the Hospital?
The home setting is preferable to a hospital
for many patients because it is familiar. The
patient is surrounded by friends and family and
is separated from the infections that are common
in a hospital setting. It is also generally less
expensive to treat the patient in the home, rather
than in a hospital setting. At McQuade’s,
we make the transition from hospital to home simple
with hospital beds and other items from our home
health department and medications that range from
the intravenous medications to our standard prescriptions.
The patient will feel relaxed and comfortable
at home.
